Kaitlyn Swartz completed a Bachelor’s degree in Human Kinetics at the University of Windsor, and an Honours Bachelor degree in Applied Health Sciences- Athletic Therapy from Sheridan College. She continued her education by completing the Advanced Standing Massage Therapy program at the Ontario College for Health & Technology then further expanded her horizons, by earning her Master in Physiotherapy Studies from the prestigious University of Queensland in Brisbane, Australia. Kaitlyn brings a holistic wealth of knowledge and expertise to her practice and is a highly skilled and dedicated physiotherapy resident with a special interest in women's health and well-being. Kaitlyn continued her education by completing the Advanced Standing Massage Therapy program at the Ontario College for Health & Technology. Further expanding her horizons, she earned her Master in Physiotherapy Studies from the prestigious University of Queensland in Brisbane, Australia. Kaitlyn brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to her practice.
Kaitlyn is passionate about helping women navigate the challenges that present themselves during pregnancy, and throughout the life stages. Her particular interest areas are pregnancy and postnatal care, continence management (urinary and fecal incontinence), pelvic organ prolapse, musculoskeletal injuries, and helping individuals manage pelvic floor concerns to engage in and return to exercise safely.
One of Kaitlyn’s favourite aspects about physiotherapy is the opportunity to make meaningful client relationships and get individuals back to doing what they love. She is passionate about sharing her knowledge and previous experience as a massage therapist and athletic therapist to educate, tailor exercise programs, and use manual therapy to holistically treat pain or dysfunction in her clients.
In her spare time, Kaitlyn enjoys spending time with her goldendoodle Leo, checking out local farmers markets around the city, and exercising at her local gym.
